Sam is a former Magic Circle lawyer and experienced consultant, known for her deep industry knowledge, strategic insights, and pragmatic approach. She has advised global and national law firms, in-house legal departments, and professional services firms. As Senior Director of Product Strategy at Intapp, Sam ensured the market’s needs were integrated into solutions for client matter intake, information security, and client engagement. With extensive experience in change management, she has led major initiatives, driving smooth adoption across teams. Renowned for her practical, results-driven approach and personable, enthusiastic style, Sam is a trusted advisor in the legal industry.

Jain Reid:

Project Manager

Jain specialises in business and technical project services for law firms.  With over 25 years of experience, Jain brings extensive process and system knowledge of the legal sector.  With a strong ability to bridge Business and IT departments, Jain successfully led international IT teams as Head of IT Asia for a magic circle firm, enhancing collaboration and driving results.  Her key areas of expertise include business transformation, post-merger integration and client matter intake.  An accomplished relationship builder, Jain has travelled extensively, delivering global IT and business programmes across Europe, the US and Asia developing a deep appreciation for cultural differences and diverse working styles.

Adam Benson:

Consultant

Adam is an experienced risk and compliance professional with nearly ten years of experience advising global law firms in various AML, sanctions, and conflicts roles. Having worked with firms headquartered in the UK, US, and Australia, Adam brings a deep understanding of navigating rapidly evolving, complex regulatory environments. During his time at these firms, he was instrumental in projects to design and implement technology solutions for client and matter onboarding. At Silver Badge, Adam capitalises on his invaluable experience, advising law firms on optimising their client matter onboarding solutions and enhancing risk and compliance processes, with particular expertise in AML, sanctions, and conflicts management.

Steve Wyke:

Consultant

After studying Software Engineering at university, Steve caught the bug for Business Analysis. In 2004, he entered the legal sector, focusing on streamlining bulk legal processes such as will writing, conveyancing, and court of protection applications through case management systems. Since 2015, Steve has specialised in business intake projects, successfully implementing intake platforms for two of the largest global law firms headquartered in the UK, and overseeing the migration of a major national firm’s intake solution to integrate with SAP. Known for his transparent and collaborative approach, Steve has earned a reputation as a trusted, client-focused analyst who consistently delivers solutions that prioritise the needs and objectives of his clients.
